how to access arrowbuttons in synth l&f

hi,
i'm searching for a way to distinguish between the arrowbuttons in the
synth look and feel package, e.g. for assigning different images to
them.
these buttons usually refer to the scrollbar buttons, but i don't know
how
to retrieve and edit them...
