hi i m programming for fixed point and floating point arithmatic in VHDl and i m using xilinx 8.1 ISE for that .
but i donot know wich packages to add and how to add them in library called IEEE_proposed and synthesize.
i also need to know how to save reference file hdllib.ref in /xst/work.

please help me out in this problem.
