How to compress the files in server?

I want to compress two fies in server (c:\data\mine.mdf, mine_log.ldf) into
a files and copy the a specific folder in client.

How can I do that?

To compress files I'd first try using the J# zip classes:

Or you could consider calling a command line utility like this:

Btw. the J# method does not work very well to extract zip's made on Mac OS.
