How to create a word table from html or from a query withJasperReport or other product

Good Morning,
I've a web application that produce an html file containing a table
coming from a query on a db,
our customer need to have this table in word format, just clicking on
a button,
we produce this using iReport and jasperReport but the problem is that
the column of the table are realized as picture or I may say draws,
there's a way to obtain a true word table directly from our java web
application ??
