how to get application path when the application start?

we can get an application path by

Server.MapPath(Request.ApplicationPath

But if I wish to do something when the application start, such as at th
Application_Start(Object sender, EventArgs e) in Global.asax file. At this time, the Request is not available.

Could anyone tell me how to get the application path in other way?

Could you explain a little bit what it's different prepend Context..

without the Context. i can get the application path when the Session start.
