how to grab data on asp page

I'm newbie in asp.net, any of your suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

I have a desktop application which reads data from a webpage, for example:
http://finance.yahoo.com/q/is?s=t

and store data to database.

Simply process the html file could do it, but i don't think it's a wise way to do it, besides I want to grab different companys data, it would such a huge job.

Could someone shed a light on this how I can do it?which field I should dig into?
