How to know when a user account is disabled in Active Directory

Discussion in 'ASP .Net' started by David C. Barber, Oct 14, 2007.

  1. Answering an earlier post:

The way to check for a disabled user in ActiveDirectory is to retrieve the
field "userAccountControl" and test bit &H2. If that bit is set, then the
    account has been disabled.
