How to know which command executed for DataAdapter.Update(DataSet)

Hi There,
I am trying to trace the block of code which had
adapter.update(dataset). The adapter has the insert, update and delete
commands defined on them along with the select command. Is there a way
to know which command executed when adapter.update is called so that I
can know the commandtext of that particular command?

Can anybody please get back to me?
