how to localize a web application which makes use of custom control???

Hi,

Can somebody tell me how exactly one can localize a web application which
makes use of custom control.

The facts as i know are -
The scope of the set of resources(default) or satellite assembly is limited
only to that application.
This can be extended to other applications by adding the satellite assembly
to the GAC.

What I would like to know is - here when i mention "application" does it
extend to the custom controls also?? Or do i need to create saperate
resource files for the custom control created??
