How to Make Link Code?

Discussion in 'HTML' started by Fitzwilliam Darcy, Aug 29, 2005.

  1. I want to make a little graphic on my site and then be able to give
    someone a link code snippet that will link back to my site from theirs.

    So that someone on their site can click on the little button I make and
    get sent to my site.

    How is this done?

    Thank you!

    What you're talking about is a normal link using an image, isn't it?

    Simply href your site's address around the image.

    Contrary to popular belief, it is believable.

    <a href="http://www.your-website-goes-here.com"><img src="your-image.gif"
    alt="A description of your image goes here"></a>

    Is that what you are looking for?

    <a href="http://path.to.your.site"><img alt="insert-alt-text-here"
    src="http://path.to.image/image.jpg"</a>

    Hope that helps.
