How to pass a parameter to a JWS application?

Hi,

It's hard to believe that this is not an FAQ, but how does one pass
parameters to a JWS in a JNLP file?

amongst many, of that information) is prominently
linked to, and frequently read, so that is probably
why it is not a question that is frequently asked.
