How to print a string to default printer???

Hi

Can anyone tell me what is wrong with following code? I'm trying to print a
string to de default printer.

DocPrintJob job = printService.createPrintJob();

DocFlavor flavor = DocFlavor.STRING.TEXT_PLAIN;

PrintRequestAttributeSet pras = new HashPrintRequestAttributeSet();

pras.add(new Copies(1));

DocAttributeSet das = new HashDocAttributeSet();

String xstr = "xxxxxxxxxx";


Doc doc = new SimpleDoc(xstr , flavor, das);

try {

job.print(doc, pras);

} catch (PrintException e1) {

e1.printStackTrace();

}
