how to read a video

    how can i read a video with VHDL?

    Have you tried? What problems have you faced?

    Assuming you mean in simultion, I would turn it into individual frames
    and read those. Any non-trivial simulation is going to take long
    enough to run that you are only going to have time to run a few frames
    anyway :)

    If you mean in real hardware, then you "simply" write an interface to
    whatever video camera you are using.
