Http exception - Request Timed out

We have hosted a web application in a client network and the application is
responding very slow.
In between we are getting exceptions due to the request time out.

We are getting the following exceptions:

1.
Event Message : Request has been aborted.
Exception Type : HttpException
Exception Message : Request timed out

2.
Exception Type : SqlException
Exception Message : Time out expired. The time out period elapsed prior to
completion of the operation or the server not responding.


The network speed is fine.
Only the particular application is very slow.

Application details.
- Asp.Net application
- Hosted on IIS
- Server RAM : 2GB
- Virtual memory : 2059
- SQL Server is present in another machine


Please suggest what could be the cause of the issue and how this can be
resolved

Make sure all your SqlConnection objects are closed immediately after use so
that they can be returned to the ADO.NET Connection Pool.
