http_headers_out embperl

I'm using http_headers_out to redirect a URL with GET parameters. The
size of the GET parameters list is exceeding the system max (256?). Is
there some way to specify in the http_headers_out that the parameters
are going to be sent via POST. I checked the APACHE site at
    http://perl.apache.org/embperl/pod/doc/Embperl.-page-5-.htm#sect_25

    Thank you
