Identify Incoming Phone Call

Hi,

I want to create a small application which identifies the incoming phone
call and retrieves the phone number using caller ID and stores the number to
database.

How it can be done in .NET. Is it possible to do?

I think you'll need some hardware device to actually grab this information
and then you'd need a software API to that hardware device.

..NET wouldn't do anything for you beyond hosting the application.
