IE float bug?

I'm designing a CSS layout for a friend,
http://tw.ecritters.biz/cyberpets/. A <h1> is floated to the left, with
a text-align:right div to its right. When the window is big enough for
them to be on the same line, the div becomes invisible. I know I saw
something about this a while ago, but I don't remember the solution.
