IE/Netscape question: aligning text

OK - I'm not intending to spark an IE/NN/Opera/Unix/Psychic-Browser
debate - just a question. . .

I've got a table with two, rather tall columns. I'd like the contents
of one column to be _top justified_ with the contents of other column.
On IE, they align just fine. On NN, the first column is centered
height-wise within the long column, causing the viewer have to scroll
down to find the information, and it looks weird.

How can I compensate for this in NN?

Without seeing your code I for one have no idea. I am assuming you have
specified valign="top" for both cells.

And which NN are you talking about. There are at least two of them.

URL?

Cheers
Richard.

Sorry - NN 7.0

I ended up creating blank tables to fill up space - valign didn't seem
to work. . .

I wrote this site from scratch last week, with help from my husband,
this group, Dave's HTML site, and a lot of swearing. It ain't fancy,
and I would appreciate any suggestions. . . = ) (My boss'll probably
veto anything that's logical or makes life simpler. . .)
