I noticed that there are diligent members of the newsgroup who post messages
marked as questions and are usually courteous to mark the thread as
“Answered†after they received adequate responses.
Unfortunately not all participants are that diligent. Therefore the search
tool (based on answered questions and helpful posts) is not as efficient as
intended.
I suggest adding 2 new icons:
1- Unanswered icon, this means that the original poster has diligently read
the responses and decided that the responses have not solved the problem,
2- Abandoned icon: to indicate that the original poster has abandoned the
thread. (This can be an automatic clean-up process by Microsoft's engine
after a specific period had lapsed without a decision from the original
poster)
