infrared connection with J2ME

Hello,

I want to write a small program, which reads out training information from
a Polar S710i via a Infrared connection. The program will run on a Nokia
6230 and will need a proprietary protocol. I know how the protocol will
have to look like and need only to know, how I can send a certain byte
array over the Infrared Port.

Anny tip would be great!

Take a look at the Generic Connection Framework classes, specifically
the javax.microedition.io.Connector class and it's open() method.
