Inputbox with win32api?

Discussion in 'Python' started by Anthony_Barker, Jun 27, 2003.

  1. Is there a simple way of throwing up a simple Inputbox with win32 api
    in python?

    I could use tk
    data=tkSimpleDialog.askstring( title="Input",prompt="Email Address?")

    but that adds 700K to the package when I distribute it to non python
    users as it forces me to include tk. (Using MacMillian installer).

    Thanks
