Insert new row into a datagrid

What is the best way, or at least a good way, to insert new rows into a
datagrid for update?
I was hoping to click a "new" button and have a new blank row come up ready
to edit.

I was looking for that artical. I got aroud it by just inserting a blank
record into the db table then re loading the grid, not the best solution, but
it does work. THe artical is a better way and i will be using this next time
around. thanks
