(invalide address alignment) in _XtCreatePopupShell

I have a C code program that runs ok on one computer but have a Bus SIGNAL (invalide address alignment) in _XtCreatePopupShell on another computer. I used XtVaCreatePopupShell in my code not XtCreatePopupShell. Both of my computers are Sun Solaris 8. Help please.
