    Hi,
Is there a way to invoke the save as dialog in firefox
    programatically through javascript?

    Thanks,
    Sampat.

You can simply navigate to a location that sends an appropriate
Content-Disposition header. Assuming you wish to prompt to save the
document at the current location, you will need to send some arbitrary
header (or query) to signal the server to add it.
