irb problem with swiss german keyboard layout on windows xp

Discussion in 'Ruby' started by Maurice Fäh, Sep 8, 2006.

  1. Hi

    I can't use string interpolation in irb,
    when using the "swiss german" keyboard layout and windows xp console.

    When I try to enter this:

    irb(main):001:0> print " test #{}"

    it's turned into this:

    irb(main):001:0> #print "test
    irb(main):002:0* {}

    I guess this is a bug. If so where do I report it?

    Thanks
