Is there a Lazarus equivalent for C++ available?

Ruud

Hallo allemaal,

I mainly program in Turbo Pascal. And now I want to lay my focus more
on C because my kids are starting with C as well. To create programs
for Windows and Linux you have Lazarus, which is open source.
I know for C there exist for example C++ Builder and Visual C. I found
a page on Wikipedia,
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Comparison_of_integrated_development_environments#C.2FC.2B.2B
, displaying C++ development tools with GUI etc. But I never heard of
most of them. I'm looking for, if possible, an open source GUI running
under Windows and/or Linux.

What can you advise me?

Thank you very much!

Thank you very much!

Dag Ruud,

you might want to have a look at the Eclipse IDE. It supports JAVA as
well
as C and C++. I prefer DJGPP for C development, but Eclipse is a very
neat,
easy to learn environment for JAVA.

Umm, ik gebruik een duits email account als bliksemafleider voor
viagra verkopers en zo meer.
Behoudens dat ben ik nederlander...
