Is there a reliable site for downloading older versions of the SDK?

Sun still has it:
http://java.sun.com/products/archive/index.html

That url contains an archive of al older releases. (There are four
j2se 1.4.0 releases available).

Thanks Elie. I knew about that page and tried it many times. I kept getting error messages saying
the page cannot be displayed. I just tried Netscape instead of IE and now I am able to download the
file. This is strange and embarrassing. ;-) I could have sworn I already tried Netscape just in case
IE was the problem.

Thank you very much. :))))))))))))))))))))))

I've found Sun is very weird in their internet access. Last year, I tried to sign up
with a nice iForce program but never could get it done. I tried several machines,
operating systems, browsers and re-configurations. I complained mightly to them about it
but was ignored.

It seems strange they would be party to the Microsoft/Intel conspiracy to force everyone
to use their lastest software/hardware. Nobody should have to use that enormous security
hole -- IE! ... end of rant ...
