PhD SOFTWARE ENGINEER (J2ME)
The Polytechnic Faculty of Mons has an open position for a software
engineer.
Position requirements and skills:
- PhD degree in Software Engineering or related area
- Good experience with Object Oriented programming, preferably C++ or
Java programming language (J2EE, J2ME)
- Good experience with Software Development Processes (RUP, UML)
The selected candidate is expect to:
- develop the application software architecture
- manage a team of programmers
The position is for a 3 year National project to develop a multimodal
aid system for the industrial maintenance scenario.
The selected candidate will join a young and motivated team, with medium
term goals between pure academic research and pure time-to-market
industry requirements.
