J2ME supports for Unicode Characters

Hi, does anyone know whether J2ME supports Unicode characters in Palm
OS environment? I tried to use MIDP to display unicode characters but
I read that it can't create new font, so I am only able to use default
fonts by Palm OS. Does anyone know how to use custom font to display
the unicode characters? Your help is much appreciated.

As your second sentence stated, you *can't* use custom fonts on a MID.
You're locked into using those fonts that are supported in the KVM itself.
