JApplet: Button Sticks!

I think I have a fairly common problem, any advice would be greatly
helpful.
I have written a JApplet with NetBeans 4.1 (the entire program - only
about 50 lines - consists of only one class). When I click the START
button the program checks if a website is running, then I have it wait
15 seconds, loop and check again. The program works fine, but because
the program never finishes (and this is what I was aiming for), the
START button is stuck down and I can't click on any other buttons.
Hopefully there is something very obvious I am missing. Thanks.

Please follow standard Usenet rules:

- Don't multipost

- As I already told you, read the FAQ(s) first before posting

- Read a group for a while before posting to it

I think I have a fairly common problem, ...

It sure is! At this very instant there is some guy on c.l.j.help
asking the same question, the question is also being asked
on c.l.j.gui.!

Maybe you should tune into one of those conversations?

Note that since the c.l.j.help convo. is the only one
where there is a) code, and b) no mention of multi-posting,
is probasbly going to be the most effective one.
