JasperReports PDF generation

Does anyone know if is it possible to generate a v1.3 PDF file from a
jasper report (even modyfing jasper source code)? I'm using
JasperReports0.6.1 but it can generate only v1.4 PDF files... Any help
will be appreciated!!! I've ABSOLUTELY to figure out this problem...
