java application as windows service?

Folks,

Ran across something recently on web and now can't find it again... IIRC it
dealt with new stuff from Sun in some kind of Java deliverable that had to
do with easing the running of Java applications as a Windows service. Does
this ring any bells with anyone and if so could you refer me to a web site
that discusses it? Tyia.

Well in the windows resource kit you can find servany.exe which will enable
you to run any exe file as a service (for instance java.exe mYApp)....
