    so i'm having this problem.

i have a folder/document JTree with elements which can be dragged and
dropped internally, so that you can rearrange the hierarchy. this is working
fine under windows and in linux. unfortunately, on the macintosh for some
reason it tries to drag the entire tree component, not just the internal
element (needless to say, things don't fare so well). has anyone seen this
before? it's pretty weird, and i can seem to find the right incantation to
    get it to work.

alternatively, does anyone know of any sample drag/drop code which works on
    the mac?

    all help appreciated!
