Job description:
Our client is looking for a Senior Java J2ee Developers to implement
new and enhancing existing functionality in Java/J2EE and Oracle.
Responsibilities Include:
* Develop applications using Java/J2EE and Oracle Workflow
technologies
* Develop technical design and unit test case documentation
* Work closely with business analyst team to understand business
requirements and actively participate in system implementation
* Work closely with QA team and actively participate in testing (unit,
integration, and user acceptance)
* Participate and provide input into the evaluation and implementation
of new application functionality and tools as required
Required Experience:
* 5+ years of experience in Software development using Java/J2EE
* 2+ years of experience working with Oracle
* Proven experience developing J2EE web-apps and service layer
architecture
* Some knowledge of EJBs, JMS, XML/XSLT, JSP, Servlets, Struts, Spring
and building web services (WSDL, SOAP)
* Proven development experience on multiple large-scale Java/Oracle
implementations and support
* Understanding of Oracle applications tables, SQL, PL/SQL, Java
Stored Procedures, entity relationships, Oracle Applications open
interfaces & API*s is a plus
* Industry awareness of best practices in implementing extensions to
the Oracle 11i applications
* Solid oral and written communication skills
* Detail oriented with solid analytical/critical thinking skills
* Experience with Java/J2EE and workflow design and development
* Ability to manage multiple tasks within a tight timeframe
* Experience with end-to-end system development & testing
Education:
* Technical Degree (BS/MS) or equivalent experience
