Job description:
* To develop Java applications with 5-6 yrs experience in Java
Application Development and 2-3 yrs of experience with Java Swing
* Java applications developer to work on development of graphical user
interfaces for storage appliances.
* To contribute to the whole software development cycle including
requirements analysis, design, implementation, technical specs, unit
testing and defect resolution. The position will involve code reviews,
merging and building packages.
Required Experience:
* Minimum 5 years experience in commercial java-based applications.
* Minimum 2+ years experience with building Java Swing apps with Java
1.3 and 1.4. Experience with Javascript is essential.
* Experience with having built xml-based api for applications.
* Knowing all there is to know about XML into and out of Java
objects.
* Expertise in object-oriented design and implementation.
* Sufficient knowledge of Solaris (Unix) to build java-based
applications.
* Experience with version control software like sccs, cvs etc.
