    Hi,

We have a certain requirement according to which we need to have Jboss and Tomcat setups on same machine which are used by two different applications. Also currently we have MS SQL as our database. But Jboss needs PostgreSQL as database.

I have some questions regarding this:

    1) Can Jboss and Tomcat run on the same box. Are there any known conflicts between the two?

2)Can PostgreSQL and MS SQL run on the same box. Any known conflicts/issues ?

3)Port 8080 is currently used for our application, looks like Jboss needs the same port. Will this cause any issue?

Any help/suggestions on this is of great help.

    Thanks and Regards,
    Rajalakshmi

    Hi,
Yes, you can run jboss and tomcat on same server. Just change the port numbers of jboss and tomcat and ajp
