JDK 1.4.1, Xalan, and extensions

Kevin Burges

I am trying to use the "redirect" extension in Xalan. I have set everything
up like in the example and all looks good, but when I run it I get no file
created by the redirect. I am using Xalan as built into JDK 1.4.1 (2.2.D11
I believe). Is this functionality something that been added in a more recent
version, or is it more likely down to something I'm doing?

I can't easily test it with a newer build of Xalan because the main code I'm
running is wrapped up inside an exe, with just the stylesheets outside.
