JDK 1.7.0_15 is out.

say that:

autoupdate will henceforth remove JDK 1.6.0. To use if, you must turn
autoupdate off.

classic Applet plugin is deprecated.

JDK 1.7.0_15 is out.

JDK 1.6.0_41 is out too. It is no longer being maintained for
security.

I believe, the update will only remove a Java 6 JRE - not JDK.
You can still have a Java 6 JDK installed.
