Position Description
This person is solely responsible for the technical execution of
design assets including final HTML/CSS templates and project work
files. Although this is more a production than a design role, a
strong visual eye and thorough understanding of how typography,
layout, color impact design is also necessary. As Lead Front-End
Developer, you will have an excellent opportunity to lead project
teams, run a group of like minded developers and work on exciting
strategic clients.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
• Produce HTML/CSS pages from master source documents for integrating
into applications
• Assist in the development of standards, methodologies and repeatable
processes for delivery of creative services
• A very strong development background, and need to be very up to date
on the latest development technologies and trends
Ability to provide oversight, critique and career during projects
• Ability to map out the development approach to projects
• Explore industry trends share with team

Qualifications
• Minimum five years experience working at an advertising or design
agency contributing to the creative execution of large scale web and
software application user-interface design projects including
ecommerce, content portals, kiosks, intranet/extranets, e-mail
marketing, online advertising and web-based application design
• Ability to solve complex design problems and achieve the highest
quality design while pushing the boundaries of rich media online
applications
• Solid understanding of W3C and Accessibility guidelines
• Ability to work quickly but with a strong attention to detail and
accuracy
• Process-oriented with ability to work with different UI materials
and rapid prototyping
• Strong communications and organizational skills with an ability to
thrive in a fast-paced production deadline-driven environment
• Proficient in most MSOffice applications as well as both Windows and
Mac operating systems
Education and/or Experience
• Bachelor’s (Master’s a plus) of Arts degree in Marketing/Advertising/
Interactive Design/Graphic Design or equivalent experience.
Certifications, Licenses and Additional Requirements
Desired knowledge or expertise (one or more of the following areas):
• HTML, XHTML, CSS skills Web graphic production
• AJAX / JavaScript

Software package expertise:
• Adobe CS production suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Dreamweaver
• Macromedia HomeSite
• Viseo
• IE, FireFox and Opera Browsers (PC)
• Safari and FireFox Browsers (Mac)

Travel
25% travel flexibility - more or less depending on project; candidate
should be comfortable with travel and overtime as client commitment
requires.
