Linguamatics is seeking an experienced Java programmer with energy and
enthusiasm to work on leading edge text mining applications. Strong Java
skills are required but C and other languages would be a distinct advantage.
Candidates must be able to work in a fast-moving startup environment, which
requires flexibility and the ability to work in a small, highly motivated
team.
The Role
You will be principally responsible for programming user interface
functionality for which GUI and network programming experience will be
required. Working within the development team, you will design, produce and
help to maintain commercial quality, well documented code running on Unix
and Windows platforms. You should have good communication skills and be able
to work with staff to get across new ideas and respond to requirements.
Commercial programming experience including web services and J2EE would be
valuable.
