We're looking for a dedicated person who shares our vision and desire
to maintain our leadership position in the industry. If you are
comfortable/interested in working in a full-blown XP/Agile environment,
can take initiative, handle increasing levels of
responsibility/ownership with little supervision, and effectively work
with cross-functional teams to deliver robust coding projects on time,
we would like to talk with you.
Responsibilities Include:
You will play an important role in our product team, eliciting
requirements, defining, and building application libraries in Ruby so
others can write automated test scripts using this application. You
will be responsible for assisting engineering and helping manage the
maintenance of existing software while building new libraries.
Minimum Qualifications:
* 2+ years experience in commercial software development as a
member of technical staff (programmer, technical tester, integration
engineer, etc.)
* Strong scripting skills in Ruby are a must
* BS or MS in Computer Science or equivalent
* Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Excellent organization, collaboration, and interpersonal skills
* Ability to take initiative to deliver projects
* Team player, results oriented, and customer oriented.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Development experience with Unix/Linux based software tools
* Experience with an IDE (IntelliJ preferred)
* Experience designing and executing tests
* Experience working on iterative development projects or testing
early-stage code
* Solid understanding of Internet and networking fundamentals
* Foundation in Java, SQL/RDBMS, HTML/XML, and web services
* Knowledge of DNS, DHCP, and IP Address Management concepts
* Experience in carriers OSS/billing applications Experience with
extreme programming (XP) development practices
