Keypad vhdl code stuff

    I am trying to writing down a keypad vhdl code, which scan the rows
    and colums in keypad and make on and off the button.
    any one have a idea.. how to do it ????

    Just assign a code to each of the row-col intersections and process
    the input as reqd.
