layout decorator framework that fits well w/ spring

I'm going to use spring as my next framework in a new project and am
looking for what templating engine might go best with it. Before I've
used webwork w/ sitemesh, but now I'm switching to the spring framework
and would like recommendations on how to put pages together that require
or ... that I want to piece together in some layout.

I may be looking at tiles, and would like to know what others have used
that has worked well where the pages will be framed up w/ headers,
footers, body, menus, nav, meta, etc...

Also, I'll probably use velocity as well, but this is very much up in
the air still.
