    Hello,

    I want to use functionality of a library (CGAL) under VC++8.0, but so
    far I can inly get it working under 7.1. If I pack what I need in
    a .lib file would that allow me to use it with VC++8.0?

    Thanks

    Try asking on a newsgroup for your compiler. This group only deals with
    C++ *language* issues:

    Regards,
