Google Groups interface users can report spam by choosing
show options > Report Abuse > This post is a spam

The Usenet nature cannot prevent spam to be cached by numerous news
servers neither prevent the post to re-appear in post listings. But
presumably after some amount of valid request (kept by Google in
secret) the reported post will be excluded from going into Google
Groups' Usenet archives.
