Listbox control loosing contents on page refresh

Hi All,

I am using a listbox control whose items are inserted
dynamically.On press of "Save" button I want to save the
values into a database. But once the save button is
clicked the page is getting refreshed and contents of the
listbox are getting lost.

How to overcome this problem so that the listbox items are
retained?
