llvm vs. parrot

Has Parrot ever been in favour?

Actually they're quite different things.

Are you saying they are "quite different" because llvm gets compiled
into native code and Parrot bytecode is still interpreted?

At the intermediate form, they seem quite similar. Why do you say not?
