LoginView RolesGroup does not work

Hi, I have setup LoginView Roles group, enabled Roles Manager in the
Web.config files and given authorisation access to my roles, namely,
approver, admin, user and requester. However, when the user logs in, he is
automatically redirected to teh LoginItemTemplate instead of the respesctive
"approver" template.
What am I doing wrong? The user does log in successfully.
I want to user to see the contents of the "Approver Role" contentTemplate.
My login form is on the site.master page.

You didn't say what role provider you are using. Maybe you can paste
your roleManager section of your web.config.
