Looking for ideas how to solve this problem

Hi

asp.net 3.5

a client of mine have a website, when googlig for their name they appear at
#1 in google.
But the other pages in the result says he is a scam etc

They have a lot of positive articles they want to post, thinking that the
positive articles will replace the negative articles on first page of
google.

they own several domains, they could host the articles on different domains
(different ip) so then again thre is no guarantee these articles will appear
on #2 #3 in google, they could appear on #14 instead.

They have set a limit of 20 hours I can use on this task

I know 20 hours is not enough. Wonder if there are something I've overlooked
here. Maybe there are something i could do which makes it a little bit
easier for them (and involve max 20 hours of work from me)

Not sure I will do this job, only if I see a doable approach within 20 hours

No they are not scam, but I understand the complains. It is a legally
registered company in my country (a country in nothern Europe)

It's a website which after registration the user is offered discount on lot
of products in regular shops. People realize it isn't discount on
everything. Sometimes there is strange rules, like product can only be
bought in special places to get the discount... And in addition you have to
pay a monthly membership fee on the website. In most cases you have to buy
more than one item each month in other to save money.

So it's basically the site offering discount for a monthly fee. To utilize
the discount the user have to buy more than perhaps he normally would. And
the user ends up not saving money as he was told in the ads.. Scam or not I
don't know, but I wouldn't by the product

As you can see, Google grouped search results by domain. That means,
you need to have your articles published under different domains. This
can be your own domains, third-level domains on the same domain, or
other sites. Try all, to see what will be the most effective way.

It sounds then as if people googling for the name get a pretty good
result - the site in question, and some others offering comment on the
site.

I think you're unlikely to succeed in stuffing the top results so that
the critics don't appear on the first page (and google disapprove
strongly of attempts to manipulate results in an unfair way).

I'd say the site owners' best bet would be to address the criticisms.

btw: this isn't an ASP.NET question, it's a question about Search
Engine Optimization - SEO, so this isn't really the right place to
ask.
