Make new record current in DetailsView after Insert

Hi, using a DetailsView, I insert a new record. After it is posted, the
DetailsView does not make the new record current. Is there a way to do this?
I am using C#. Thanks.

Also, I have not seen any examples yet of implementing a search feature.
Does anyone have any simple example? I know I can just requery the database,
but is there a way to locate values within the DetailsView instead of
requerying?
